Planetek Hellas will join the DEFEA-Defence Exhibition which will take place at Metropolitan Expo - Athens International Airport, from 9 to 11 of May 2023 under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence/GDDIA.
Defence Exhibition Athens (DEFEA) hosts the international defence industry alongside the major Greek defence companies, with an equal split across land, air, sea and cyber security. About 346 exhibitors from 28 countries, with main participation of countries such as: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Italy, North Macedonia, Romania, and Slovakia. DEFEA 2023 is also marked by the impressive participation of the Armed Forces and the Security Authorities of the Greek state, such as: The Ministry of National Defence, the General Directorate of Defence Equipment and Investments, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, the Armed Forces General Staffs, the Greek Police and the Coast Guard.
DEFEA exhibition will showcase new weapons systems, innovative technologies, and the latest advancements in the field of defence equipment from both the domestic and international markets.
Planetek Hellas will join DEFEA with a stand (Hall 2 A33) to showcase state-of-the-art solutions for Defecne and Security using Earth Observation satellite intelligence (IMINT, GEOINT) to help Agencies, armed forces, Civil Protection, and also private business, in their decisions and operations. Thanks to its 30 years of business and several years of support to National and European Agencies (Interpol, Copernicus EMS, Italian Armed Forces, etc.) Planetek has a long-standing experience and use case related to the provision of solutions for situational awareness, border monitoring, natural phenomena monitoring, and so forth.
