Rheticus Map2Fish is a solution that provides information about sea areas with fish concentration probabilities and other supplementary forecasting information.
The solution was implemented for the Map2Fish project in the framework of the Integrated Applications Promotion Program (IAP), of the European Space Agency (ESA). Its objective was the development of a web service and mobile application that delivers daily and hourly forecasts of sea areas with pelagic fish concentration probabilities and other supplementary forecasting information.
Rheticus Map2Fish implements a web service and mobile application to provide the following forecast information layers: probability of fish concentration, sea temperature, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll concentration, water transparency, waves, and currents.
