“Smart Citizens in Smart Cities for an Inclusive Digital Europe” is the title of the workshop taking place Wednesday 10 October 2012 in the European Parliament, Brussels. The workshop is a part of the 4th European Innovation Summit.
The scope of the workshop is to promote the discussion about Smart Cities theme, through the development of Smart Citizenship concept in Europe and the concrete opportunities for local governments, R&D and value added services organizations.
Planetek Italia, together with other Apulian companies is supporting the organization of the workshop.
The 4th European Innovation Summit, taking place on 9-10 October 2012 in the European Parliament, provides an excellent opportunity for all stakeholders to discuss the main challenges with Members of the European Parliament, Commissioners and high-level EU-officials and to bring forward solutions with the aim to improve Europe’s innovation performance. The Summit aims to provide a “Reality check” of businesses and innovation, which may inspire policy makers in the decisions to be made.
Knowledge4Innovation (K4I) is a non-profit, independent multi-stakeholder platform with members from the European public, private and academic sectors. K4I engages the relevant actors and sectors with different backgrounds and expertise, mobilising know-how and resources and engaging in a permanent dialogue under the framework of the K4I Forum of the European Parliament.
